Monarch Readers - Level 1 - Revised

These beautiful, phonics-based readers were written by a pair of Montessori teachers.

Designed to encourage children in the early stages of reading, these lovely decodable books are organized into 5 levels.

Level 1 has 6 paperback books, 4-8 pages each.

Titles include:Objects, Animals, The Farm, Red Rods, Picnic, and Gran.

To increase success, each set includes a packet of "puzzle" words that can be presented before the child reads the book.

Helpful hints for the adult working with the child are included with each book. Ages 3+.

This set is included in the Complete Monarch Readers Set (L786). Save when you order the Complete Set.

Please note: This set was revised and now has 6 titles instead of 3. (The original item number was L781.) Based on teacher feedback, revisions to the format were made, including more vibrant art and changes to the font to make the books easier for children to read.
