Classification of Vertebrates

After children understand the characteristics of vertebrates, they can sort 25 labeled animal photo cards under five classifications cards: fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals.

Set includes:

Fish: stingray, piranha, shark, seahorse, flounder

Amphibians: frog, newt, toad, tree frog, salamander

Reptiles: gecko, python, tortoise, crocodile, skink

Birds: macaw, woodpecker, bald eagle, emu, goose

Mammals: bat, cow, bobcat, monkey, dolphin

Laminated cardstock cards are 2¾" x 3". Basic information about habitat, breathing, covering, and reproduction for the different classes is included.
