Vertebrates and Invertebrates (SC77) offer a chance to compare two subcategories of the animal kingdom whose similarities and differences are more subtle.

The three-part format is perfect for early reading activities, and superb photographs isolate the subject for classification work.

Subjects include: cats, chipmunk, cockatoo, fish, frog, horse, human, lizard, owl, salamander, seahorse, and snake.

First introduce cards for naming. Then, mix with other sets for sorting.

Rounded corners minimize damage. Printed on recycled paper. Control card with label measures 3½" x 4¼". The 5-mil laminate extends just to edge of each card, not beyond. Ages 3 - 6.
