Kalimba Thumb Piano

This easy-to-play rhythm instrument is beautifully embellished with a hand-painted design on the top; a half of a coconut shell forms the bottom. This interesting percussion instrument calls out to be explored!

A child can rest it (round side down) in a lap, sitting cross-legged, and pluck the metal keys with both thumbs. The lowest sound is in the center with higher tones up the sides (not tuned to a scale). 6" dia. top x 3¾". Ages 4 and up.
