Maria Montessori Centenary Card Set

A 100 year historical retrospective

From the ten-year-old Maria in 1880 Rome, to the child-filled courtyard of the first Casa dei Bambini in 1907, to Dr. Montessori’s 1951 visit with English children at London’s Gatehouse Montessori School, this set of ten picture/story cards celebrates Maria Montessori’s life and work in beautifully reproduced historical photographs.

Each card front has one image with place and date labels. Interesting facts relating to the images are printed on the back. Set of 10 varnish-coated cardstock cards; 5½" square.

Elementary teachers can use one set to create a timeline activity. Primary teachers can use two sets to make three-part cards for their classrooms.

Places and times included are: London, 1934; San Francisco, 1915; London, 1950; London, 1951; Rome, 1911; San Lorenzo, 1907; Rome, 1880; India, 1943; Rome, 1930; Italy, 1920.
