Challenging Phonetic Words

This set is Level 4 of the Phonetic Reading Cards. These are the most challenging words in the set. Each word contains more than one phonogram/digraph and/or double letters. Start with packet A (one syllable words) and work up to packets D and E which feature all completely phonetic compound words. 5 packets of 6 sets of three-part cards (90 cards in all).

We are excited to offer this well-thought out, truly phonetic, progressively structured reading program. Designed by a Montessori teacher, these three-part cards use beautiful, clear photographs to engage the beginning reader. Children read the labels, match the labels with pictures, and then use control cards to check their work.
