Parts of the Turtle Definition Cards

Definition card sets for the terms introduced by the Parts of the Turtle 3-Part Photo Cards. Defined terms include: turtle, head, tympanum, eyes, nostrils, jaw, neck, carapace, plastron, forelegs, hind legs, clawed feet, and tail.

Children exercise logic and use reading comprehension skills as they work with these definition cards. First, match the Definition control card to the matching Parts of the Turtle photo control card (SC748, SC750) for each term. Then, match each term to its full definition, then the term to each part of its definition.
