Sun Moon Star Drum

Three drum heads allow two children to play the same drum together. Real lambskin drum heads provide such satisfying tones! Children can use the two drumsticks, or their hands, to tap out their own rhythms, play along with a group or the DVD, or play a rhythm game.

The DVD shows how to start children drumming using the "sun", "moon", and "star" as symbols that “translate” to hand drumming strokes. The DVD includes an introduction to simple percussion patterns and play-along practice tracks, then calls on skills learned to create a group rhythm, teach two traditional African rhythms, and play three partner games.
