Children’s first exposure to rhythm is the steady beat of their mother’s heart. Our conga drum provides a perfect opportunity for children to create their own rhythms or play along with a recording.

Congas are Afro-Cuban drums of Congolese origin and are played by striking the surface with fingers extended (great for developing hand-eye coordination). This beautifully crafted conga has a leather head stretched taut across the top of a tapering, hardwood base, open at the bottom. Carry it over a shoulder while playing, or rest it on the floor. Includes a fully adjustable strap. 7" dia. head x 15" high. Ages 2 and up.
