This book offers a systematized approach for teaching cursive as children’s first writing experience or for making the transition from printing to cursive writing. Emphasis is on letter connections, the most difficult aspect of cursive. Children place writing strips at the top of their lined paper and copy directly below. Exercises progress from single lower case letters (grouped according to beginning stroke) through two-letter combinations and short words and phrases, to capital letters and sentences. Paperback, 80 pages.
