This set consists of 19 duplicate plant picture/text cards. One set is cut apart for three-part matching activities, and the other set is placed in the green, six-ring mini-binder labeled Plants. The teacher has the option of changing the cards in the binder as needed. The children can match the three-part cards (6" x 3¾") to the cards in the binder, practice reading, learn about the diverse characteristics of these plants, and then play “Who am I?” The eight angiosperms picture cards can be sorted beneath two cards that name and define Monocots and Dicots. These activities prepare children for later work with In-Print’s set, Plant Kingdom Chart and Cards, which illustrates the same plants.
